It’s about a cursed town where an annual harvest becomes a brutal battle for survival. On Halloween 1963, Sawtooth Jack, the terrifying legend, rose from the cornfields and threatens the children of the town.

“While the twist is unsurprising, it is the execution of it where the movie hits its mark,” said Phil Walsh in a review on Geek Vibes Nation. “The movie’s emotional center is Richie’s desire to turn his back on the town while dealing with Sawtooth Jack’s connection to his family.”

A group of boys unite to defeat the murderous scarecrow before midnight. Richie, who’s a rebellious outcast, joins the run and motivated by his brother’s previous victory.

As the hunt progresses, Richie makes a shocking discovery and faces a pivotal choice to break the relentless cycle.

The cast includes Casey Like, E’mryi Crutchfield, Dustin Ceithamer, Elizabeth Reaser, Jeremy Davies, and David Slade.

It is produced by Matt Tomach (PGA) and David Manpearl (PGA) along with executive producers Pamela Hirsch and Michael Gilio.

The Film is rated R and distributed by MGM Studios. The film can be seen on Amazon.
