Tyson Fury And Francis Ngannou Set For Epic Clash In Saudi Arabia

Former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson joins Ngannou's coaching team for the mega fight.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou’s mega fight has been slated for Saturday the October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The match pitting the ‘The Gypsy King’ who is the WBC undisputed heavyweight champion and ‘The Predator’ who is the former UFC heavyweight champion has been touted to be the baddest and richest in history.

Mike Tyson the former boxing heavyweight reigning champion joined Cameroonian Ngannou’s coaching team to help him prepare for the fight . Mike Tyson and Ngannou (17-3-0) are both reputed to be devastating punchers.

“As soon as that bell goes, it’ll be bombs away! This guy is supposed to be the hardest puncher in the world, but let’s see how he reacts when he gets hit by the Big GK. I can’t wait to get back out there under the lights. I’m looking forward to showing the world that The Gypsy King is the greatest fighter of his generation in an epic battle with another master of his craft,” said Tyson Fury (33-0-1 (24 KOs) in media reports.

“I’ve been waiting to meet Tyson in the ring for the past three years. My dream was always to box, and to box the best. After becoming the undisputed MMA Heavyweight Champion, this is my opportunity to make that dream come true and cement my position as the baddest man on the planet. I’d like to thank Riyadh Season and my team at 3Point0 Labs for helping put this event together,” said Ngannou in media reports. 

“All I will say to Tyson for now is he better dance in that ring because if I touch him, he’s going to sleep,” added Ngannou in media reports. 

Francis Ngannou already arrived in Saudi Arabia with his coaching team in preparation for the fight. It is Fury’s first fight since his TKO win over Derek Chisora in December 2022.
