Israeli Fintech Capitolis Donates Transactional Revenue To Community Service

Capitolis Connects program supports organizations in New York, London, and Tel Aviv

Israeli fintech company Capitolis is donating a portion of all transactional revenue from its platform throughout the month of June to its Capitolis Connects program focused on supporting “innovative and impactful” community service organizations in the areas it serves: New York, London, and Tel Aviv.

Employees of Capitolis volunteered their time at each of these local organizations as well.

This is the fourth year of Capitolis Connects. Over the first three years, this unicorn company donated $100,000 to the program.

In June, the Tel Aviv branch chose to support Notnim BeAhavah(“Giving with Love”), which aids children, families, and elders who are at risk, impoverished or lonely. The employees bought and distributed new school supplies for the coming academic year.

In New York, the designated recipients this year are Coalition for the Homeless – Grand Central Food Program as well as Covenant House, which provides a lifeline for homeless, runaway, and trafficked young people in the New York area.

In London, Capitolis chose to support Compliments of the House, a food redistribution charity that collects fresh surplus food and delivers it to vulnerable individuals and families.

“At Capitolis, we remain committed to giving back to our communities and to help those who need it most. We are proud and extremely excited to continue Capitolis Connects and work with our selected human service organizations this year,” said CEO and founder Gil Mandelzis.

“These organizations are near and dear to our hearts. We look forward to continuing to support meaningful causes through acts of service,” said Mandelzis.
