Ms. Jewell-Hammie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Western Michigan University. During her time at WMU, Skyla earned scholarly recognition in the Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity. Skyla has soared in the world of media through her educational career. Through different channels, her connections to freelance work and investigative reporting continue to succeed.
